BOTTEGA VENETA'S NEW FRAGRANCES

|
Written By:

It's a big week for Bottega. The brand made our week yesterday with a new campaign featuring Jacob Elordi, titled 'Going Places', in which he embodies the meaning of Andiamo, leaping over the landscape of Utah and Nevada with the brand's hottest new handbags. Now, they've announced the first fragrance collection under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy.

Inspired by Bottega Veneta's origin city of Venice, and the house's signature Intrecciato, the five fragrances are housed in refillable glass bottles create a fluid, 'lagoon' ripple, recreating a mouth-blown glass effect with distinct air bubbles in the glass of each unique bottle. Standing on a green Verde Saint Denis marble base - the same that is in Blazy's store designs - the bottle's wooden cap is reminiscent of the foundations of Venetian palazzos, featuring an engraved metallic ring around the cap.

The perfumes include: Colpo di Sole; a Mediterranean inspired scent with notes of orange blossom and French Angelica oil; Come With Me, infused with Italian bergamot and violet of French orris butter; Acqua Sale which combines woody labdanum absolute from Spain and Macedonian juniper oil; Déja Minuit, lacing a geranium from Madagascar with Guatemalan cardamom; and Alchemie, infused with Brazilian pink pepper that meets myrrh from Somalia. It all sounds - and smells - very BV. The fragrance collection is available now.
