A new Louis Vuitton wonderland has opened at the centre of Queen Street Mall, Brisbane. Inspired by the Place Vendôme store in Paris, the new boutique occupies the three levels of the National Australia bank heritage building. Australian artist Otis Hope Carey has transformed the space through his artworks, including an epic mural that covers the staircase between the women’s universe on the ground floor and the men’s selection in the basement. The custom designed artwork took over two weeks to create, and is an interpretation of Otis' Gumbaynggirr clan totem, Gaagal, meaning ‘the ocean’. (Above) In collaboration with China Heights Gallery, the mezzanine with continue to feature different artists throughout the year. First up is Otis and Shaun Daniel Allen (Shal). An excellent exhibition with a side of all that good, new LV.
