Van Cleef & Arpels Opens New London Boutique
Luxury jewellery house Van Cleef and Arpels is growing, expanding the scope of its brick and mortar spaces along London’s famed New Bond Street. A stone’s throw down from the original boutique, a new space is opening tomorrow, stretching across 130 square meters and combining a boutique with immersive elements.
With an experience-first approach, the new shop will blend the house’s storied, Parisian craftsmanship with its wide-ranging historical influences plucked from the 20th century. The interiors, which draw from a natural colour palette of greens, oranges and blues, reflect the alluring charm of an enchanted forest. Nods to Art Deco appear in on the nature-themed wallpaper, whilst Murano glass leaves slither down from the ceiling to give the space an elevated, glamourous tone that reflects the house’s beloved design codes. On display will be the whole gamut of Van Cleef and Arpels glittering catalogue, with high jewellery, fine jewellery and watches all sitting pretty in sleek glass cases.
The shop will also introduce the brand’s Haute Perfumerie fragrances for the first time, offering visitors the chance to have their senses pricked, creating a more full-bodied brand experience than a traditional boutique. The space will also house a series of public workshops and events, such as art demonstrations and panel discussions, intended to strengthen the maison’s community and commitment to heritage, inspiration and craftsmanship.
The new Van Cleef and Arpels store opens tomorrow and can be found at 169 New Bond Street.
