When we think of an iconic handbag, we think of Chanel. A trusted, timeless sidekick. To celebrate the House's most iconic quilted handbag, Chanel recruited Inez and Vinoodh to recreate scenes from Claude Lelouch's 1966 French film A Man and A Woman, which tells the story of two widows who meet at their children's boarding school. Due to the original film's low budget, the movie was shot in three weeks, with leading actress Anouk Aimée using her own clothes and personal accessories - including her Chanel bag. We like her style. Chanel ambassador Penelope Cruz joins Brad Pitt to recreate almost word-for-word scenes from the film for the new campaign. But the real star of the show is the Chanel bag, of course. Watch the film above.
