Swept with echoes of 1920s Parisian glam, the Valentino fall 2025 co-ed collection by Alessandro Michele is a truly wonderful expression of the designer’s eclectic vision for the house. Models, with slick, waved hair, don pastel hued layers of lace and silk that take shape as dresses, pussy bow blouses and decadent, tiered skirts. Sequins and florals are rife, while pugs and kittens pepper knitwear, adding a healthy dose of playful flamboyance to the offering. Elsewhere, chic clutches and velvet or tweed crossbody bags decorate the extravagant looks, which come underscored by vibrant pantyhose and glitter slip-on heels.

One particularly elegant gown comes in a lush cream colour and features a deep V neckline. At the back, a sequin butterfly extends its wings, caressing the dress and elevating it from a supple eveningwear piece to a bold, red-carpet ready look.

The Valentino boys look dapper in their slim, flared suits cut from colourful fabrics doused in ‘70s style psychedelic patterns – in pastel of course. On their feet, they wear studded brogues and sleek, leather loafers, whilst carrying V logo clutches and tasseled totes under their arms. With a certain, bygone flare, Michele’s Valentino is coming together nicely.
