A NIGHT WITH CHANEL AND DUA LIPA

We've spent the last few months singing the Fine Young Cannibals' She Drives Me Crazy, doing our best Dua Lipa in the Chanel 25 campaign impression. The song is the tune of the Chanel 25 handbag campaign, as Dua struts through the streets of New York City singing the song, with the House's star-of-the-season-bag in tow. To celebrate one of the brand's most exciting campaigns to date, we rolled up to the Grammy Award winner's Radical Optimism Sydney show with a slew of Chanel-loving girls.
With a surging ocean filling the HD screens and a mega infinity-shaped chrome stage, Dua took us through four acts and an encore, featuring her greatest hits, and B-sides from Radical Optimism. An acapella epic Training Season was the opener, and a Chanel bodysuit decorated with gold chains to close. The dress is a recreation of Christy Turlington's iconic Spring 1992 Haute Couture runway look. Throughout the show, she danced tirelessly, she belted brilliantly and she must have known that 10 Magazine was in the house, bringing out Tame Impala's Kevin Parker (10 Men Australia cover star, and the producer behind Radical Optimism) to sing the Australian artist's The Less I Know The Better. We like her style. Turning Qudos Bank Arena into a club, we did as she wanted, dancing the night away. And with our own Chanel bags by our sides and Dua Lipa merch faithfully on, it was a radically optimistic. Chanel knows how to have a good time.
