Over the years, Maria Grazia Chiuri has become quite the globetrotter with her Dior cruise shows, tapping into the cultural heritage of each destination that she transports the Dior possy to. We’ve seen tartan gowns appear amidst the Scottish Highlands, Greek mythology weaved within the Panathenaic stadium in Athens and a nod to the legacy of Frida Kahlo in Mexico City.

Now, Dior is venturing to Chiuri’s hometown, Rome, to present its 2026 cruise show, with the runway set for May 27. As the first Dior show to take the stage in the Italian capital, the announcement comes after Chiuri’s undertaking of the restoration of an ancient theatre in the city – the Teatro dellla Cometa. Exact locations of the show are yet to be confirmed, but we’re sure it will be one-to-watch so keep your eyes peeled.
